From ultra-minimal frames to intelligent smart glass — LUMINEX systems are designed for architects who refuse to compromise.
4,200+ completed projects across 32 countries. Every space we touch is transformed by precision engineering and exceptional light.
Founded in Munich in 2006, LUMINEX was born from a single conviction: that the window — the interface between human space and the natural world — deserves to be engineered with the same precision and care as a precision instrument.
Our founders, both trained engineers at the Technical University of Munich, spent years studying the world's finest buildings and asking a simple question: why did the windows always let them down? The frames too thick. The glass too insulating. The hardware too flimsy for the architecture surrounding it.
LUMINEX was the answer. Today, 18 years and 4,200 projects later, we supply window and door systems to the world's most demanding architects and developers — from residential masterpieces in Berlin to commercial landmarks in Zürich, hotel refurbishments on the Côte d'Azur to penthouse terraces in London.
We manufacture exclusively in Bavaria, where our 24,000m² facility combines German craft traditions with industry 4.0 automation. Every system is tested to European standards and often beyond them.
